When I come before you I will sing.
I will sing of a joy that I do not know yet but feel.
When I come before you I will pray for the joy that I now see.
I will praise you because you have lifted me up and out of my mire.
When I come before you I will smile a smile that I’ve never smiled before.
I will be in jubilation of all that I’ve seen because you’ve blessed me everyday.
When I come before you I will bow for you are awesomely adored in every way.

The Blessing of Being Alive and Smiling
By Milton Lee Norris
The blessing of being alive and being able to smile is one of God’s graces, which He gives us all.We all smile in different ways, our lips, our cheeks, some of us even show teeth when smiling; some of us just keep our mouths closed, while some of us show a wonderful grin. Some of us smile with our eyes; some of us smile with our hands, as in a handshake when we greet one another, and some of us are artists, who smile in many ways. For some of us, it our legs, our feet, our arms and our heads that smile; we dance and what a smile that is. Smiles can make us tingle, as when thinking about the love of a friend, or a sweetheart so dear, and then there’s the chill than runs down our backs with joy on a happy occasion.
There are all different ways of smiling, and what a joy they are. Some of us smile when we sing a song, or play an instrument, and some of us smile when we speak those words a writer wrote so sweet. However we smile, we all have a heart with a different kind of smile, and then there’s our spirits, which leave the most unforgettable smiles. Anything that is related to joy creates a smile, either from within or from outside; it really is amazing, because our bodies and spirits don’t have to be taught; they just know just how to react; we simply use God’s most perfect instrument. Good morning everyone!
